Adult Party Update - Free Admission

Admission to the Pocahontas adult party will be free of charge. Please ignore conflicting information on fliers or in the newsletter. Refunds for those that have paid are available at the pool office.

There will be a silent auction with lots of fabulous items. List as of noon, Thursday:

About Pocahontas

Pocahontas Swim Club provides both a recreational and competitive swim environment for children and adults. Contact us to learn more about the pool or to join.

Quick facts:

· Everyone is welcome! Open to residents of Allen County and beyond.

· Multiple membership options for families, friends, couples and singles.

· Paid lifeguards.

· 6-lane, 25 meter (82 foot) heated pool with full-perimeter skimmer.

· Diving well with 1 meter board adjacent to the main pool.

· Separate, spacious, fenced wading pool available for younger children.

· Covered, fenced picnic area with cement deck and charcoal grill.

· Large cement sun deck with plenty of adjustable lounge chairs.

· Shaded seating areas near the children’s pool and scattered throughout.

· Concession stand with beverages, healthy snacks and treats. Special items like tacos, hot dogs and sno cones are served on scheduled days.

· Changing areas with hot-water showers and no-slip flooring.

· In-pool basketball goal.

· Sand volleyball court.

· Play set with slides and swings.

· Plenty of green space surrounds the pool for sports and fun.

· Pool toys are welcome when used considerately.

· Competitive swim team to develop and sharpen skills. (Extra fee applies.)

· Social events throughout the season. See 2009 calendar for examples.
